Identity is the fact of being who or what a person or thing is. Although Don Quixote is originally written in Spanish, it has been translated in many different languages from English, French, and Ect with the identity of the book changing as well. The character Alonso Quixano changes his identity to Don Quixote to transition from his normal life to a fairy tale.
